Nourish House Calls is now offering treatment for Covid-19!
What is this treatment? REGEN-COV (made by Regneron), and similar products by Eli Lilly (etesevimab/bamlanivimab), and GlaxoSmithKline (sotrovimab) are monoclonal antibodies that neutralize the COVID virus and prevent it from entering your cells and using your cells as a virus-producing factory.
Basically, it prevents you from getting as severely sick from Covid-19, and from being sick for as long.

Who Should Get It?
Covid treatment or exposure: if you tested positive for Covid-19, if you were exposed to Covid-19 and want to prevent yourself from getting sick with Covid-19.
Who should NOT get it? If you are pregnant or nursing, we need to have a conversation about risks vs. benefits before I will allow you to consent to getting the antibody treatment. I want all my patients to be informed before consenting. Essentially, yes, it is possible to get if you are pregnant or nursing, but we just don’t know all the risks (of you having Covid-19 or or you getting the antibody treatment). If you’re allergic to the antibodies or have gotten them with in the last 30 days, you’re not a candidate for the antibody treatment. Patients must be 12 years or older, weighing 88 pounds/40kg or more.
Cost is $1250
Optional (but highly recommended) add-on IV immune supporting vitamins after the infusion for an additional $200 (normally $250). Payment is collected in full at time of service (cash, check, Zelle, Venmo preferred. I also accept credit cards and HSA cards).
I am out-of-network with insurance providers, but can provide the paperwork for you to submit to insurance on your own – I am unable to make a prediction or guarantee about how insurance will handle reimbursement.
Infusion takes 20 minutes (plus 30-45 for vitamins) and I need to monitor for an hour after the infusion. Total appointment time is usually around 90 minutes.
I’ll come to your house (within about 10 miles of 60559, so most of DuPage and some of western Cook county) to perform this infusion. I also have office hours in Downers Grove, IL on Tuesdays and Thursday mornings (until 1pm), and sometimes Saturday afternoons.
